FX Bonaire Kiteschool: The Ultimate Kite School on Bonaire
Located at the most beautiful beach in the area – Atlantis Beach – FX Bonaire Kiteschool is the place to be for kitesurfing lessons. While kitesurfing is our main focus, in recent years, wingfoiling has grown rapidly. Additionally, we offer kite and wingfoil equipment for sale, exciting downwinder trips, and we even rent and sell mountain bikes!
Right now, we are looking for a
Kiteschool Bus Manager (m/f)
to join our team for 3 to 4 days per week.
The Role
As one of the two bus managers at our kite school, you’re a real all-rounder! Your cheerful personality makes students, kite enthusiasts, and passersby want to chat with you. As the first point of contact at the kite school, you enjoy talking about kitesurfing and have the commercial skills to turn a friendly chat into a booked lesson or a sale of new gear.
Besides engaging with students and tourists, you will lead the team. You’ll manage the instructor team and ensure everything runs smoothly throughout the day. You’ll handle the planning, organize kite lessons, set up and pack down our awesome beach spot, and drive the school bus to and from the beach.
You’ll also take charge of the day’s start-up, making sure the instructor team can perform at their best. If any problems arise, you’ll have the perfect solution for every situation!
Requirements
You are the perfect candidate if you meet the following criteria:
• You have experience managing a small team.
• You’re a friendly team player who knows how to support the current team.
• You’re available for at least 6 months.
• You’re confident speaking with people and enjoy sharing your knowledge about kitesurfing.
• You’re stress-resistant and able to handle multiple tasks while staying organized.
• Safety and respect for the environment are always your top priorities.
• You’re available 3-4 days a week and flexible during high/low seasons.
• You’re fluent in English and Dutch.
• You have a driver’s license (B+E), and a ‘large’ license is a plus.
• You’d rather wear boardshorts (or a bikini) than a three-piece suit!
